On 28 June 2008 a team of over 20 members of staff gave up their weekend to walk along a section of Hadrian's Wall as part of a team building exercise.  The walk was approximately 13 miles long and took 6.5 hours to complete.  There were many blisters and sore feet at the end of the walk, but it was worth it.  Some staff arranged to be sponsored for completing the walk, the monies raised going to several charities including Cancer Research.

During June 2005 a 20 strong team from Langard Lifford Hall climbed Ben Nevis for Cancer Research. Ben Nevis being the highest mountain in the UK.  Over £7,000 was raised.  Picture below is the team on the summit cairn.

In July 2006 a few brave members of staff took their lives into their own hands when they went White Water Rafting in Canollfan Tryeryn in Wales.
